You may find https://www.gmayor.com/Batch_Print.htm useful. It has been a while since I updated the page, but it is compatible with all recent versions of Word for Windows.

If you are running Windows 11, the operating system is showing a shorter list of context (right-click) menu options initially. You can click the Show More Options option to see everything, including the option to print.

Note that the print option may not be available if you have selected different file types, such as Word and PDF.

Thanks, If i select more than 15 word files the print option disappear, so i can select maximum 15 files.

And it print randomly not in sequence, so i have to make the sequence of papers manually after print.

I am not sure if there is any solution available for this.

    Thanks

As far as I can tell, your screen shot shows the right-click menu for a folder. You have to select multiple files rather than a folder for the print context menu option to be available. The print command doesn't work with folders. However, see Graham's reply. His add-in does what you want.

    Dear Abdul Qadir2

Greetings and thank you for posting your question on the Microsoft Community forum.

Per your description, you wish to batch print multiple Word files via multiple selections in File Explorer and right-clicking expecting to find the print option which is not available.

We understand how important this is especially when dealing with multiple files and the process of opening each is strenuous.

I have tried to print multiple Word files via File Explorer, and I have found the “Print” option on my end.

    • Go to the folder containing the Word files you wish to print.
    • Select these files either by holding down the CTRLbutton and selecting the files you wish to print. If you wish to print all of them, click on the first file in the list and scroll down (if need be) to the last file, press and hold down the SHIFT button and click on the last file.
    • Right click on the selected files and select Show more options at the bottom.
    • This opens a longer right click menu and there you will find Print. Then click on it

    • Following this, each file is opened. This is the output format in which you wish to save the files to be printed.
    • In the window that appears (Save Print Output As), type in name of each file as you wish to save in “File Name” and choose the output format which by default is in PDF format in “Save as type”.
    • Then click on Save.

    • After doing this for each file, it begins printing.

Note however that you need to edit the information above per file which is automatically saved in the desired location as a PDF file and then printed.

Make sure your printer is well set and connected to the PV from which you need to print.

Hopefully you understand that initial responses might not always resolve the issue. Hence, if you come across any difficulties, do not hesitate to reach out and provide this:

1.The version of Windows are you using

Press Windows button > Click on System > Select About from the left menu > Look for Windows specifications to see your version.

2.Does the issue only happen when you print Word files? Can you batch print Excel files and PowerPoint files?

We appreciate your understanding and patience.

    Sincerely,
