This above recommendation from community support specialist did not resolve the issue, can someone please post a valid troubleshoot info on the error occurring during office365 new account creation with error not found in module?

*Microsoft community specialists, should try the solutions on their own first before asking people to try invalid steps

I’m currently experiencing exactly the same situation (for three days) and wholeheartedly agree with Ehsan - let’s get a solution posted, not a suggestion. We’ve all paid for these products - it’s really not too much of an ask to expect them to actually work properly.

We’ve all been lulled to sleep with User Community Forums when in fact MS should be focused on delivering sound products that function correctly- out of the box. When they don’t MS shouldn’t be hiding behind forums & chats - time to get out in front of these things, manage expectations and deliver the excellent expectations depicted in their marketing. The buying public (all of us) will never recover the countless hours we spend trying to make these things function only to later discover (thru Chats & Forums) that the problem isn’t new and still unresolved by MS. I could go on but I’m sure the point is made.

I am trying to create a new account as well so I can enter the Product Key for Office Home 2024 that I just bought at the Apple Store for my wife's new MacBook Air. When I get to the sign in page at office.com/setup and click on Create One (to create a new MS account) I get this error "The custom error module does not recognize this error.".

I have tried using Chrome and Safari and cleared all the history and cache to no avail. It's a brand new computer with brand new browsers so can't believe they are the issue. It's like there is something wrong on Microsoft's end which is not permitting new accounts to be created. I can sign in to my MS account no problem but I can't create a new one either on my computer (also a MacBook Air).

I am also getting this error. I've attempted to create a new Outlook account on an xBox and an iPhone (using Safari) on a friend's network, my laptop using multiple browsers on my home network, and on multiple browsers on two separate networks at my workplace. All result in this error. First attempt was around 11:30am EST yesterday morning (Jan. 1, 2025), up until my last attempt a few moments ago at 4:35am EST.

Not helpful at all, I've tried using firefox, edge, safari, and chrome, cleared my cookies several times, and still get this error when trying to create a new account. It should not be this difficult for users to do such a seemingly simple thing and not getting adequate service from a billion-dollar company that's been around for years. I've tried to contact a real person or even a virtual assistant for service and either the page doesn't load or it directs me back to this useless community forum. I'm very disappointed in microsoft's "service". Give us an actual answer and not some louzy suggestion.
