Some letters are not working when typing in Excel

So as the title of this post says , some letters won't work when I type in Excel.

I can't type the letters 'c', 'h' and 'v' in Excel. I am using a bluetooth keyboard but the problem is still present when I use my laptop's built in keyboard.

I can type the letters in other programmes, like Chrome to make this post, but just not in Excel.

Could someone perhaps help me fix it ?

I have the same issue with the exact same letters. And it has happened before a couple of times, again same 3 letters. Very odd.

Try running Excel in safe mode

Open Office apps in safe mode on a Windows PC - Microsoft Support

    1. Find the shortcut icon for your Office application.
    2. Press and hold the CTRL key and double-click the application shortcut.
    3. Click Yes when a window appears asking if you want to start the application in Safe Mode.

If it works in safe mode, it could be Excel add-in issue. If issue persist, you may need to reinstall office.
