Microsoft 365 features that help users manage their subscriptions, account settings, and billing information.
Hi, JenniferTrauth
Welcome to the Microsoft community.
Regarding your question, Microsoft 365 Basic and Microsoft 365 Personal have some key differences:
-> Microsoft 365 Basic:
- Microsoft 365 Basic Plan & Pricing (Includes OneDrive 100gb Storage, Outlook) - Microsoft Store
- Cost: $1.99/month or $19.99/year.
- Storage: 100GB of OneDrive cloud storage.
- Apps: No access to desktop versions of Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Email: Ad-free Outlook email.
-> Microsoft 365 Personal:
- Buy Microsoft 365 Personal (formerly Office 365) - Subscription Price | Microsoft Store
- Cost: $6.99/month or $69.99/year.
- Storage: 1TB of OneDrive cloud storage.
- Apps: Full access to desktop versions of Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and other Office apps.
- Email: Ad-free Outlook email with additional security features.
If you unsubscribe from the Microsoft 365 Basic plan, you won't lose any of your information. Your data will remain in your OneDrive account, but you will need to ensure you don't exceed the storage limit of your remaining subscription. Since Microsoft 365 Personal includes 1TB of storage, you should have plenty of space for your files.
If you have any other questions or need further assistance, feel free to ask!
