When I try to do so, I am denied permission to my own spreadsheet that I can assure you I am the owner of. This is very disruptive. Please advise--I rely on this spreadsheet to do my job.

Hi EmiHLC

Welcome to Microsoft Community.

I realize that you've encountered a problem with " Forma's sync issue with OneDrive " and I understand how you feel. Don't worry, I'll do my best to help you.

According to your description, is there any error message when you are denied access? If possible, please upload a picture of the error message, which will help me better locate the problem and solve it for you.

Here are some possible solutions:

First, make sure you are using the latest version of Excel and Microsoft Forms. The new synchronization solution requires you to open the workbook in Excel web version to synchronize new replies

Second, check whether you have the correct permissions to access and edit the workbook. Even if you are the owner of the workbook, sometimes there may be problems with the permission settings. Try the following steps:

  1. Find the workbook in OneDrive or SharePoint.
  2. Right-click the workbook and select "Share".
  3. Confirm that you have full control permissions in the sharing settings. If not, try to reassign permissions.

If none of these methods solve the problem, you can try to create a new Excel workbook and resynchronize all replies. The specific steps are as follows:

  1. Open Microsoft Forms in the browser.
  2. Go to the "View Responses" tab.
  3. Click the drop-down arrow next to "Excel Form" and select "Disconnect and Sync to New Workbook"

I hope these suggestions have been helpful to you!

Looking forward to your reply.

Best regards

    Hi Adrian
The solutions suggested above have not worked for me. I tried for a form I am an owner of and also tried with a user who is the owner of her form. The form data is saved to an excel file which is in a Team in which we both are Owners of, respectively. Any other suggestions for solving this issue?
