How do I integrate my Outlook calendar to Zoom? I keep getting held up at the EWS URL (which I cannot find anywhere).

It looks half way there, but I still don't see the Outlook events on my Zoom calendar. I have no issue connecting my Google calendar. Outlook is much different.

(see screenshot)

Something is missing/wrong here. I am unable to connect it where it says "connect".

While this is very thorough, I am still unable to get any further than where I have been. My options are not like what everyone keeps telling me I should have. The EWS URL is nowhere in sight and that seems to be the biggest issue and I do not see a way around it.

I think what the issue everyone is having is that when using a PERSONAL or HOME version of Microsoft 365 it isn't letting you connect this to Zoom. Only a business account or school account can connect.
Can you please find a fix for us to connect a PERSONAL or HOME version of Office 365 to our Zoom account.

    Thank you.

    Hello Coach Tiffany H,

Hope you are doing well. Appreciate your quick response.

Based on your last reply; to better understand and investigate your issue, I may need some more detailed information from your side so that I can narrow down the issue in the right way:

    • Could you please confirm if you're using your Microsoft 365 Business/Education email account, personal Microsoft account such as Outlook.com, hotmail.com, or live.com, or another third-party/custom domain email account?
    • Will you please share me your Outlook version details? Please follow this article What version of Outlook do I have? - Microsoft Support and follow the steps to verify. Also, may I know what email configuration is your email account in Outlook? is it POP/IMAP? Or Microsoft Exchange? Thank you.

Initially, I asked for some information as I couldn't find the some above requested in your case description so that we can understand some more specific scenario for your current situation. If you share the information requested above, it will help us for additional inquiries.

I look forward to your next update for further analysis. Thank you very much for your cooperation. Have a nice day!

    Sincerely,

    Nafis Iqbal Shuvo

    Hello Coach Tiffany H,

Good day! Thank you for publishing in Microsoft Community. We are happy to assist you!

First of all, I would like to express my sincere appreciation for the tremendous effort you've put into describing the entire scenario with screenshot. Your detailed and thoughtful explanation is truly commendable.

I understand from your description that you want to set your Outlook calendar to Zoom. Based on my general understanding, you may follow these steps. Steps to Integrate Zoom Calendar with Outlook

    1. Install the Zoom for Outlook Add-in:
    2. Configure Calendar Integration:
      • Open the Zoom desktop client and go to Settings.
      • Navigate to Calendar and Contacts.
      • Select Outlook and follow the prompts to sign in and authorize the integration. Please kindly refer this: Using calendar and contacts integration
    3. Find the EWS URL (if needed):
      • Using Outlook Web App (OWA):
      • Sign in to Outlook Web App.
      • Click on the gear icon in the top right corner and select View all Outlook settings.
      • Navigate to Mail > Sync email. The EWS URL should be listed there.
      • Using PowerShell:
      • Open PowerShell on your Exchange server.
      • Run the command: Get-WebServicesVirtualDirectory | Select name, *url* | fl.
      • The EWS URL will be displayed in the output.
    4. Authorize and Sync:
      • Once you have the EWS URL, enter it in the Zoom settings where prompted.
      • Follow the prompts to complete the integration and ensure bi-directional syncing is enabled. Please kindly refer this: Using calendar and contacts integration

    Troubleshooting Tips

    • Ensure Permissions: Make sure you have the necessary permissions to access the EWS URL and integrate it with Zoom.
    • Check for Updates: Ensure both your Zoom client and Outlook are up to date.
    • Contact IT Support: If you’re still having trouble, it might be helpful to reach out to your IT department for assistance.
