Hi,

I have installed a Windows 2019 server core and I want to switch it to GUI mode.

It's possible to perform the switch without a rebuilding the server from scratch ?

    Hi

Unfortunately it's not possible , you have rebuild server from scratch and select Desktop Experience to enable GUI mode

Downloaded Windows server standard edition instead of desktop edition - Microsoft Q&A

The option to switch from Core to GUI was removed with Windows 2016. The only way is to reinstall.
