- Add your existing email accounts to Microsoft 365. (During the setup, you’ll be prompted to add your custom domain. This is where you’ll enter the domain you already own.)
- Follow the instructions to verify that you own the domain. This usually involves adding a TXT record to your domain’s DNS settings.
- Once your domain is verified, you can set up email addresses using your custom domain. You can either create new email addresses or connect existing ones. After you finish setup, the MX record for your domain is updated to point to Microsoft 365 and all email for your domain will start coming to Microsoft 365.
