I want to replace all instances of a phrase in the text with the same phrase in italics. Is this impossible? I don't see any option to do so using the find and replace interface or the advanced find and replace. Thx.

  1. Choose Edit>Find>Advanced Find and Replace.
  2. Choose the Replace tab.
  3. Type the word into the Find what and Replace with fields. Leave the insertion point flashing in the Replace with field.
  4. Click on the button with the downward-pointing arrowhead.
  5. Change the Format dropdown to Font.
  6. Set the Font style dropdown to Italic. Click on OK.
  7. Note that below the Replace with field, it now reads Format: Font: Italic. Click on Replace all to replace all instances of the word with an italic version.
