I'm working with a Dutch company - when I setup the language in my LOOP browser version to English, userinterface remains Dutch, even though I have delete the Dutch in the language settings.

What do I do? ...all templates etc. is in Dutch and I don't speak nor understand the language.

My language settings in MS365 is English.

    Hi Kasper,

As a workaround, you can add "/?locale=en-us" at the end of the Loop URL to have the display language as per our requirement. For example: https://loop.cloud.microsoft/?locale=en-us. See if the display language of Loop for Web is English.

    Hi Kasper,

    Thanks for posting back.

I go through your reply carefully. You mentioned the second method is blocked by the admin function and highlighted the message "Some details, like your name and job title, may be provided by your IT ….". This message is normal and appears on my end as well. Therefore, I would like to double-check the situation, in case I have misunderstood the situation.

Can you click on the three dots next to the Details button and click "Language and Region" as shown below? If any error message is returned, please provide a full screenshot via "Insert Image".

We look forward to your response. Thanks for your cooperation. 😊

    Sincerely,

The second is blocked by the admin function

I've have tried to you find the right place through SME admin portal without luck. https://support.microsoft.com/en-gb/smallbusiness?ocid=SMCNavtoSMBHub

Please provide me with futher guidance on where admin can change this - as I have that access as well.

    Thank you in advance.

    Best regards

    Kasper

    Hi Kasper,

Thanks for posting in the community. We are happy to help you.

I understand the inconvenience you are experiencing. Per your description, regarding "When I setup the language in my LOOP browser version to English", I would like to know how you changed the language. Did you change the proofing language in Loop (in Loop, Settings> Languages> Editor proofing languages)?

  5. Check and change the display language in your account profile.

Go to www.office.com, click your avatar in the upper right corner> My Microsoft 365 profile> Update profile> click the down arrow next to "How can I change language and regional settings?" and click "here". Click the three dots> Language and Region> Set English in "My Display languages" box. Make sure that Dutch is not in the box. After that, go to the bottom of page and click "Save all and close".

  • Check the language in your browser
  • For example, in Edge, click the three dots> Settings> Languages. Make sure that English is the first language.

Note that it may take several hours for the changes in Step 2 to take effect. In this case, as a temporary workaround, you can use the translator add-on in your browser to translate the language on the page from Dutch to English. Some browsers provide the built-in Translate feature in the browser. You can search the settings in the browser.

If the display language in Loop is still in Dutch after waiting several hours, please post back and let us know. We will keep on assisting you. Also, you can provide some full screenshots of the situation. This can help us to better understand the situation. You can upload the screenshots via "Insert Image".
