When using the "New Comment" feature in Microsoft Word, the text intended for the comment box occasionally gets inserted into the main document body (left side) instead of the right-side comment box. This occurs randomly, even when the following conditions are met:
The document is in Print Layout view.
The comment display is set to "Show Comments in Balloons" (not in-line).
The text is selected before inserting the comment.

Are you saying that the Reviewing Pane / Revisions Pane pops up on the left hand side of the document? Or are you seeing something else? A screen shot may help us diagnose the issue.
