Animated Text Styles are not available in Work account

Hello,

I am using ClipChamp using both Personal and Work account. In Personal account, I am using the Free version and Work version is M365 Standard license.

I noticed that in Personal account, Text has lot of pre-defined styles available - Title, Two Line, Caption, Special and Intro/Outro. These styles are very much useful and handy.

In Work account, the pre-defined styles available in Personal account are not listed. Only static Text styles are available, as shown below, which is not usable at all, IMO.

I would like to know how I can enable or access these pre-defined styles in Work account.

Any help is appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

    Thank you for the reply.

I still cannot process that features are missing between personal and work accounts; considering it is the same codebase technically.

IMO, this is another creepy way to force people to purchase Clipchamp license for Personal account because the text animation in Work account is not usable.

    Thank you.

    Dear abhilashca,

Thank you for reaching out. I understand that you are experiencing differences in the availability of pre-defined text styles between your Personal and Work accounts in ClipChamp. The pre-defined styles such as Title, Two Line, Caption, Special, and Intro/Outro are indeed very useful.

Currently, the availability of these animated text styles is limited to the Personal account version of ClipChamp. The Work account, which operates under the M365 Standard license, only offers static text styles. This is a known limitation and is due to the different feature sets provided for personal versus work accounts. Please refer to How to access Microsoft Clipchamp with your work or school account - Microsoft Support

Unfortunately, there is no direct way to enable these pre-defined styles in the Work account at this time. However, I recommend keeping an eye on future updates from Microsoft, as the feature might be expanded in the future for Work accounts based on user feedback.

Additionally, I encourage you to share your feedback on the Microsoft User Feedback website. Your input is valuable and can help prioritize feature enhancements in future updates.

Thank you for your understanding and patience. If you have any further questions or need additional assistance, please feel free to reach out.

    Best regards,

    Dear abhilashca,

Thank you for your feedback. I completely understand your frustration regarding the differences in functionality between the personal and work accounts, especially considering they are technically based on the same codebase.

The decision to limit certain features to specific account types is often based on various factors, including licensing agreements, user feedback, and intended use cases. While it may seem like a strategy to encourage the purchase of a Personal account, it is also possible that these limitations are in place due to technical or business considerations.

I appreciate your patience and understanding in this matter. Your feedback is valuable, I will forward your feedback to the relevant team to better understand user needs and consider enhancements in future releases. And I encourage you to continue sharing it with Microsoft through the User Feedback website. This helps highlight the importance of these features to users and can influence future updates. We highly value user suggestions and will strive to improve the product.

If you have any further questions or need additional assistance, please feel free to reach out.

    Best regards,
