May I please double confirm if you are using a Microsoft 365 business/school account or a third-party email provider account?
May I please double confirm if you can able to access office apps through web access previously?
May I please double confirm if you can still access your account as an end user via Microsoft office portal? If yes, to check the license assigned to the account, you can follow the steps below and check the license assigned to the account. To do this, go to the Microsoft 365 portal https://portal.office.com/ and sign in with the account in question.
- Click "Install and more", select install M365 apps.
- Select Subscription, and then check the subscription plan assigned to the account. If it is A1 plan, as I tried to mention above, this license only allows users to access office apps through web and mobile devices, it doesn't include desktop apps.
Regarding the admin account issue, could you please provide us with the error message you are getting?
- May I please know if recently used this account to sign in to the Microsoft 365 admin center as an administrator?
