Typically, you are all set to check your subscription and download and install it directly on your Mac by logging into account.microsoft.com/services.
If your subscription was purchased separately and didn't come with your device, for example, it doesn't restrict the specific device and operating system on which it can be installed, so you can install it directly on your Mac, but given that you may have used the application on other devices, you may see a message after installation that says something like “This product has been used on other devices “You will need to contact support to assist you in transferring the license.
