I don't think the profile avatar can be removed, but if you're talking about the "Add-ins" group at the end of the Home tab, you can remove that.

I’m so disappointed with Microsoft products. Why do you make such a useless, not user-friendly product? I want my Office 365 applications to remove the useless functions, such as my profile icon and add-ins. Please remove them for me. It’s so frustrating and disappointing

I don't think the profile avatar can be removed, but if you're talking about the "Add-ins" group at the end of the Home tab, you can remove that.
