I'm trying to setup a CNAME record on bluehost with the hostname autodiscover. However it will not let me as I have an exsisting A record with the same hostname. What do I do to fix this?

    Hi Craig,

If you are looking to use autodiscover to point towards Office 365 services, then you should look into deleting your A record in your DNS.

The real question is are you using the A record to point towards an IP address that is your current mail host? If so, simply delete the A record and change autodiscover to a CNAME (while pointing it to Office 365).

Also note that DNS changes may take awhile to propagate through the internet and may not immediately change for your devices.
