Hello,

last time found in events viewer very often application error "opushutil.exe", which is timely very close to the situation, when computer is frozen.

    Office repair is not the solution!!!

    This error started after recent Office update. Persists on different computers in different locations started around March 1st, 2025.

    Hi all, the workaround is very simple. 

    1. Rename the opushutil.exe in the original directory to opushutil_orig.exe
    2. Create on the desktop a simple .txt file. 
    3. Rename the .txt file to opushutil.exe
    4. Move this self created "opushutil.exe" to the original directory
    5. Enjoy - no more error message
