    Hi Rob Arteaga,

Thank you for posting in the Microsoft community. We are happy to assist.

Based on the information you have shared with us; you would like to know how to generate outlook. To fully understand the scenario, provide accurate steps, I would like to confirm the following Infromation

May I confirm if the affected account is outlook for Office 365 or outlook.com or any third-party account?

The option to sign in with QR code is available in the personal outlook accounts "@outlook.com"; in Microsoft 365 you can generate the QR code to add the account in the Microsoft authenticator app and configure the passwordless authentication.

      • Go to Outlook.com and log in to your account.
    2. Access Settings:
      • Click on the settings icon (gear icon) in the upper right corner.
      • Select "View all Outlook settings" at the bottom of the settings pane.
    3. Navigate to Mobile Devices:
      • In the settings menu, go to General > Mobile devices.
    4. Get the QR Code:
      • Click on "Sign in faster to Outlook on your phone".
      • A QR code will appear on your screen.
