I spent years writing my biography, currently using Office Word Online. These files are modern DOCX documents, written in Office Online.
It's split over multiple files by year. The files are in my Onedrive.
Since a few weeks I no longer can access these files. None of them.
After opening the document in Office Word Online after a few seconds the Edge browser tab crashes, showing this icon in a big gray screen:
Files smaller than 10 Mb I cannot access anymore.
Documents unmodified since years I cannot access anymore.
I cannot copy the information as the online app shuts down.
What am I going to do? I'm crying. This cloud service, yet my life got erased.

Try downloading the file from OneDrive. If you don't have a local copy of Office, you can install LibreOffice and see if you can open the file in that application. (LibreOffice is an open source office suite with a word processor, a spreadsheet and a presentations application.)
