@Ashraf: maybe you can unlock that?

We had a similar challenge recently: getting the Microsoft 365 GAL (Global Address List) onto mobile devices (iOS & Android) — and natively, so that contacts work offline, show caller ID, and support click-to-dial right from the phonebook.

After testing several solutions (including CiraSync), we ended up using sync.blue — a simple online service that solves this quite elegantly. What I liked:

  • It pushes contacts natively to the devices’ address books (offline access, caller resolution, etc.).
  • Two integration options: either syncing the GAL into a subfolder of your personal Exchange address book, or using CardDAV (works natively on iOS and via app on Android).
  • Fully GDPR-compliant
  • Much easier to set up and more affordable than CiraSync
  • And what was especially useful: it can be rolled out to all corporate devices using Intune, so you can automate deployment across your organization.

If someone’s still looking for a straightforward solution: here’s a free trial link

Best regards,

Gunter
