Hello Karen Taylor3,
Welcome to the Microsoft Community.
Thank you for contacting Microsoft Community Support. I understand that you are currently experiencing the issue of Clipchamp being stuck on the loading screen, I fully understand your confusion and you can troubleshoot the issue by following the steps below:
Force restart the application
Open Task Manager by pressing Ctrl+Shift+Esc → Right click on “Clipchamp” → Select “End Task”.
Restart the app to test if it works.
Clear App Cache
Press Win + R, type ms-settings:appsfeatures and enter.
Find Clipchamp → Click on “Advanced Options” → Scroll to the “Reset” section:
Try clicking “Repair” first (it won't delete data).
If that doesn't work, click on “Reset” (this clears the local cache but keeps your account information).
Checking for App and System Updates
Open Microsoft Store → Click “Library” on the left side → Click “Get Updates” button.
Go to Settings > Windows Update → Check for and install the latest system patches.
If the issue is still not resolved, the web version of Clipchamp can be accessed through a browser and functions exactly as the desktop version, without the local cache.
I hope this has been helpful!
