Using Forms for simple application forms to complete and email

I am a new web manager for a charity organisation for retired people. At present, when outings are announced, people have to download a form, print it, complete it, and post it to the organiser. Slightly roblematic as many do not have printers and have to wait for a posted newsletter with the application form - by which time all of the spaces have gone. I am looking to have a form template that allows me to create an outing application form on my website where the applicant downloads the form, fills in the spaces, and emails the document to the organiser. I don't think this is possible with MS Forms. Have I missed something?

As members are listed and controlled on another app, I do not have the facility to direct the form to members. They must read the web article about the outing and apply.

    Hello.OursoulsDad

Thanks for using Microsoft products and posting in the community.

I would be honoured to help check your question.

Before I answer your question, you need to give me some information so I can better pinpoint your problem.

Did you edit this form using your personal account, or did you work with a Microsoft account provided to you by your organisation?

Question about forms templates. You can login to Microsoft Forms.

On the main page you can find these templates that you can use.

If you don't have the one you need you can create a new form and copy the template you need.

    Forms can be shared.

In the interface of the created form, click on ‘Collect replies’ in the upper right corner, then copy the link, send the link to others in various forms, and others can reply to the form directly through the link.

After someone submits a response, you can view the response by clicking view responses.

    Best regards.

    Hello.OursoulsDad

Thank you for responding to my message.

If your organization also has Microsoft 365, I would recommend that you request an organizational account from your organization, as Microsoft 365 provides nonprofit organizations with a different and more powerful version of the software than the version used by individuals.

When you get a chance, I suggest you try it out.

    Have a nice life.

    Best regards.

Thank you for the information Petter. I was using my own 365 account, although I am told my organisation has one.

The potential of the form for surveys etc is clear, but I wanted a simple form that people can elect to download, complete, and email for organisers to manage outings etc. I have found a solution that does the job.

Playing with MS Forms was informative. If I were to have a survey or something similar in future, I might use forms, but I found the formatting fairly restricted. I may have missed something but have no time to look into it now.

    Thanks again.
