Processes in Microsoft 365 for setting up Office apps, redeeming product keys, and activating licenses.
Hi Pat Jutte,
Thank you for posting in the Microsoft community. We are happy to assist.
Based on the information you have shared with us; I understand you a concern regarding transferring of Calendar Ownership in Office 365.
In Microsoft 365 there are two ways you transfer a calendar to another user.
- Use outlook application to Export the calendar and import the calendar to another user
- Export the Calendar:
- open new outlook for windows or outlook on the web > settings> Calendar > Shared calendars > publish Calendar.
- Select the calendar you want to transfer and give "can view all details" permission and click publish.
- Click the ICS link to download the calendar file.
- Import the Calendar:
- In Outlook Web App, go to Calendar > Add calendar > From file.
- Choose the ICS file you exported and import it.
- Export the Calendar:
- Use calendar sharing permission to Grant delegate access Permissions on the calendar: Share and access a calendar with edit or delegate permissions in Outlook - Microsoft Support
- In the Outlook on the web, navigate to the Calendar pane.
- in the left panel under calendar right click on the calendar
- Go to the sharing and Permissions tab, click Add to choose a user, and select delegate in the Permission Level dropdown
You can try the above steps and let us know how it goes, if you have further concerns, please feel free to reply here, we will work together to find a direction specific to the situation.
Thank you for understanding and cooperation. I will be looking forward to your next updates.
