Office activation problem. Error 657rx & 4vt9f

Good day.

I work for an IT company and one of our clients have recently had problem with their office. Their office was for some reason not working, so I connected remotely to their machine and saw that it is asking for their business office activation details. I filled in the account and password and then it prompted me to fill in the password again. After saying "continue" again, it asked me for the client's other account password, saying that I am about to access sensitive information. I type in the password and it takes it, but then shows me a window saying that it was unsuccessful. I close that window and then another windows pops up with the error code 657rx.

I tried doing both a quick fix and online fix, but it doesn't work. I resorted to uninstalling it and reinstall office. Everything was working fine till I needed to enter the office activation account again. Now it gives me the error code 4vt9f.

Can anyone help me solve this issue? I have looked through multiple forms, but none of them work or have the same problem.

To anyone running into this issue, I found a fix on another site that worked for me for the error 4vt9f.

    Delete all files from:

    C:\Users%username%\AppData\Local\Microsoft\OneAuth\blobs

    C:\Users%username%\AppData\Local\Microsoft\OneAuth\accounts

    C:\Users%username%\AppData\Local\Microsoft\IdentityCache

After that, I was able to get my user's Outlook to sign in and start syncing.

I had this same issue when switching from a school license to a license I purchased. I did the steps that Mr. Zhang motioned and the problem persisted. Below are the steps I took to fix my issue.

    1. Open word and selected Account in the bottom left of the home screen
    2. Signed out of all accounts
    3. Select Switch Licenses
    4. Update Licenses

I had the same error. I went to outlook in my apps list, right clicked it and clicked run as administrator. This worked.
