Valid Office 365 subscription shown as expired

I have a Microsoft 365 Family Classic account using ******@outlook.com. This is active, is working fine, and is next due for subscription in 2026

I have previously invited family member ******@outlook.com to a subscription under the family account. This has worked fine for years, but this morning showed as subscription expired.

When I log into ******@outlook.com, the account tab shows “Your Microsoft 365 Family subscription has expired”. It then offers me opportunities to renew this – either with a Family subscription or with an individual personal subscription.

If I try to re-invite ******@outlook.com to my current family subscription, it wont allow me to, telling me that I am already invited. I cannot find a way to de-invite Member so that I can then resubscribe.

In summary, I have an invited subscriber to an active and valid Microsoft 365 which is showing as expired, and I cannot resolve this. Any ideas?

Edit: there is a service update from MS here: https://portal.office.com/servicestatus

This is exactly why I hate the subscription model. I want to buy a program and use it. Period. End of story. I shouldn't have to log in to use a product I bought and be subject to their oops that blocks me out of something I paid for that is mission critical.

I am having the same issue. The subscription is showing as expired and gives the option to renew. One drive is working OK and showing as premium subscription.
