Hello I need help recovering an account, I’ve filled out the fourm multiple times and it’s led nowhere, I’ve answered all questions to the best of my abilities and the only other way is via a sms code which I no longer have access to the number I’ve rang the new owner of the number and they were unwilling to help, I just need to speak to someone and I understand stand that Microsoft has no way for people to actually speak to someone but this is now getting ridiculous

    Dear Ashe Murray

    Thanks for using Microsoft products and posting in the community.

    I understand that you're having trouble recovering your Microsoft account and you're having trouble providing all the accurate information requested by the Microsoft account recovery form.

    I would like to set appropriate expectations that Microsoft account recovery is managed by a completely automated server and we don't have manual access to it. Microsoft takes the security and privacy of our customers very seriously. We are committed to protecting your personal information, and the meticulous account recovery process is intended to protect you from any potential malicious activity.

    I will direct you to contact Microsoft Online Support:

    1. Open a website link - Contact - Microsoft Support
    2. In the box below "We'll work for you anytime", type MSA, click "Get Help", and then click "Contact Support" below.
    3. In this section, you need to register a personal Microsoft account

    Note: You can only use a personal MSA to sign up, and the company account can't display the correct content. If the account cannot be connected, you can use a different account or create a new account to run;

    1. Select "Other Products" under Products & Services, select "Manage Account Security" as the category, and click to confirm
    2. You can select "Chat with a support agent in your web browser" to access the chat window.

    Best Regards,

    Tina L - MSFT| Microsoft Community Support Specialist
