Hi, see: Add a watermark in Excel - Microsoft Support

To add a text watermark to an Excel document, open the Header & Footer by going to Insert > Header & Footer. Then, on the Design tab, click Picture in the Header & Footer Elements group and select "From file" to choose an image or use the built-in "DRAFT" or "CONFIDENTIAL" options. After selecting the image, you'll see a placeholder in the header. Click anywhere outside the header to view the watermark on your worksheet.
