Hello,

I am experiencing issues with activating Copilot in Word 365. Here are the steps I have already taken:

  1. License:
    • Verified that I have a current Microsoft 365 Family subscription. Copilot works fine on another computer.
  2. Office Updates:
    • Ensured all Microsoft 365 apps are up to date.
  3. Add-Ins:
    • Checked the Add-Ins: Copilot does not appear in the Add-Ins.
  4. OneDrive:
    • Resolved issues with adding a OneDrive account by restarting OneDrive.
  5. Windows Update:
    • Performed a Windows update to ensure the operating system is up to date.
  6. Copilot Function:
    • Attempted to use Copilot in Word: Clicking "Chat with Copilot" does nothing.
  7. Control Panel:
    • Checked Programs and Features: Both the German (de-de) and English (en-us) versions of Microsoft 365 are installed.
  8. Privacy Settings:
    • Reviewed and activated relevant privacy settings in Microsoft 365.
  9. Update Channel:
    • Had difficulty finding and checking the update channel.
  10. Repair Office Installation:
    • Performed an online repair of the Office installation.
  11. Copilot Troubleshooter:
    • Used the Copilot troubleshooter but found no solution for the specific problem.
  12. Reinstall Office:
    • Uninstalled both versions (de-de and en-us) of Microsoft 365.
    • Restarted the computer.
    • Reinstalled Microsoft 365.

Despite these steps, Copilot still does not work in Word 365. Any suggestions or additional troubleshooting steps would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you!
