- Wait a few hours, ideally 24 hours, before trying again. The block usually resets automatically.
When retrying, go to https://setup.microsoft.com
Use private/incognito mode in your browser or try a different browser entirely.
If possible, redeem the key from a different device or network (e.g., using mobile data or a different Wi-Fi).
- Ensure you have the full product key (25 characters) and a valid purchase receipt from Walmart (digital or printed). Double-check that the product packaging hasn’t been tampered with or previously opened.
- If the error persists for more than 24 hours, you may need to contact Walmart Customer Service with your receipt. Explain that the key is being rejected by Microsoft due to an activation limit or server lockout. Also, ask for a replacement or refund, especially if it's a boxed or digital product sold by Walmart or its official partner.
