If I am the only user in our organisation with the requirement to schedule posts in Viva Engage, am I the only user that needs the Employee Communications and Communities licenses?

Will the rest of the organisation be able to consume my scheduled post with the Viva Engage Core license?

I'm keen to understand if we need to purchase Employee Communications and Communities licenses for all our users so that we have the capability to schedule posts?

    Dear Rachel Hawksford,

    Thank you for reaching out.

If you're the sole individual in your organization needing to schedule posts in Viva Engage, only you require the Employee Communications and Communities license. This premium feature enables functionalities like scheduling posts, articles, and announcements.

The rest of your organization can view and engage with your scheduled posts using the Viva Engage Core license, which comes with Microsoft 365 or Office 365 enterprise plans. This core license allows users to access and interact with content in Viva Engage, ensuring seamless communication across your organization.

Therefore, you don't need to purchase Employee Communications and Communities licenses for all users—only those who need to create and schedule posts require this premium license.

Thank you for your time and patience, we hope you have a great day!

    Kind regards,

Hi Sophia, I have another question in the same vein.

If I was the sole individual in our organisation who would be running AMA's, am I the only person that needs the Employee Communications and Communities license or does everyone participating in the AMA need an Employee Communications and Communities license?
