Hello, appreciate if you can help me install / transfer Microsoft Office Professional Plus 2016 to my new laptop.

Unfortunately I don't have the product key or details like that, but I know I purchased a copy a very long time ago.

Thanks and appreciate your assistance to guide me how I can install Office 2016 to my new laptop.

Uninstall Office from your old computer and then use your account at https://account.microsoft.com/services to install on your new laptop.

If you purchased Office via the HUP (Home Use Program), the Order History page may be relevant to you. See https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/workplace-discount-program/order-history.

Later, if you run into activation issues, try using phone activation from the article at https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/office/-telephone-activation-is-no-longer-supported-for-your-product-error-when-activating-office-9b016cd2-0811-4cb3-b896-5a6a13177713.

Hi there! This is Marc. Thank you for reaching out to the community.

Thanks for providing those details. Based on what you've described, here are a few approaches we can try.

If you purchased Office 2016 through a Microsoft account or the Microsoft Store, there’s a chance that the product key might be linked to your account.

Go to https://account.microsoft.com/, sign in, and check Services & Subscriptions for your Office 2016 purchase. If it's there, you can download and install directly without needing the product key.

If Office 2016 is still on your old laptop, use a key finder tool like ProduKey or Magical Jelly Bean Keyfinder to retrieve your product key, then use it on the new laptop.

Download Microsoft's Office Deployment Tool to reinstall Office 2016 if your license is linked to your Microsoft account.

Let me know if you need further assistance!

    Best regards,

If its associated with an MS Account https://office.com/myaccount de-activate the old install and on the new uninstall the pre-installed o365 Family trial via win add/remove then install
