Overnight many of my accounts have been hacked or several attempts were made, and now my Outlook is in Chinese. I can't read Chinese to figure out how to save settings or perhaps it is more insidious than just a setting - please help!!!

    Hi, kristen

It looks like the language settings were changed, but we can easily fix that.

To switch the language back to English, even with the interface in Chinese:

    1. Open Outlook and click the gear icon (设置) in the top-right corner to open Settings.
    2. Go to 常规 (General) > 语言和时间 (Language and time).
    3. In the 语言 (Language) dropdown, select English.

Note: The Chinese button names are translated and may not be fully accurate. Please refer to the screenshot I provided to guide you.

After that, make sure to secure your account by checking for any suspicious activity. Change your password and enable two-factor authentication for extra security.

If you think your account was compromised, you can use the Microsoft Account Recovery page.
