This behavior may stem from browser-specific session handling, cached data, or privacy settings that interfere with OneDrive's PDF viewer. While Incognito mode disables most cached and cookie-related elements, regular sessions may retain a configuration that blocks popup triggers unintentionally.
To address this issue, we suggest the following actions:
- Clear Cached Data:
- Go to browser settings and fully clear cache and cookies (select “All time” for time range).
- Review Site Permissions in Managed Browsers Confirm that pop-ups are permitted for onedrive.sharepoint.com
- For Chrome and Edge:
- Navigate to browser settings:
- Chrome: Settings > Privacy and security > Site settings > Pop-ups and redirects
- Edge: Settings > Cookies and site permissions > Pop-ups and redirects
- Add onedrive.sharepoint.com as an allowed site.

- Use Default Browser Setup:

- Temporary Workaround:
- Using Incognito/Private mode continues to be a reliable workaround while the behavior is being investigated further.
