I recently purchased a new laptop and microsoft 365 is installed and ready to activate for the free trial through the dell purchase. I want to uninstall Microsoft office 365 but do not see the app under features and programs but when I select one of the icons it is asking me to activate before using so it must be there. How do I uninstall.

My apologies about that. Are you able to uninstall through settings?
Open Settings (Windows + I).
Go to Apps > Installed Apps.
In the search bar at the top, type Microsoft 365 or Office.
Look for entries like:
Microsoft 365 (Office)
Office
Microsoft Office Click-to-Run
Click the three dots ... next to them and choose Uninstall.

There is no Microsoft office in settings see below
Hello and thank you for your response. I ran the uninstall tool and the black screen indicates it is running the uninstall. When I came back to it 20 minutes later black screen is still there but I also have this on another screen. The black screen never closed. The manual steps are the ones I've already tried. There is no MS office under program and features. When I open word or excel it asks me to sign up for the free trial. So I have to assume they are installed or the icons would not be there.
