The Times New Roman font (not "new Times Roman") has been included in every version of Windows since Windows 3.1. (For its history, visit Times New Roman font family.) You should see it in the folder C:\Windows\Fonts.

If the font is somehow missing from your computer, you can copy the four TTF files (Times New Roman Regular, Italic, Bold, and Bold Italic) from any other Windows computer and install them on your computer. This is legal because you have a license for them as part of your Windows license. If you don't have access to another computer, another method is to run a repair reinstallation of Windows.

Times New Roman is universally installed on Windows and Mac computers. Free font sites will have it available, just search on Times New Roman font download.
