Can I use office on my ipad?

G’day,
I’ve been trying to download Office on my PC without much luck, and I’m starting to wonder if I’m going about it the wrong way.

Would it be possible to use Office on my iPad instead? And if so, could someone kindly walk me through how to set it up?

Much appreciated in advance.

Cheers,

Good point, a subscription isn't necessarily required. But without a subscription, editing will only be available on screens of certain sizes. Which type of license do you have?

To install Office apps on an iPad, you will need a Microsoft 365 subscription.

Even with a subscription, the mobile iPad (or iPhone) versions of Office apps will be limited compared to the full versions you can run on a Mac or PC.

It doesn't need to be a subscription. You can also use the free version of 365. But either way, as you said, the mobile version lacks many features of the desktop version, as well as some features which are available using a browser. The free version lacks even more.
