I will greatly appreciate it if someone can help me fix my camera which is not saving a photo and video directly to my computer once I take one.

Thank you

Thank you for that information.

Open File Explorer.

1

Open your Pictures folder.

Inside that folder, if these folders do not exist, right click and create these folders:

Saved Pictures, Camera Roll and Screenshots.

2

Open your Videos folder.

Inside that folder, if there is no folder names Captures, then create that folder.

3

Open the Registry Editor again, it will still be on the same page.

Right click each of the 4 entries indicated below and delete them

4

Restart (not shut down) your PC to apply that change.

    Thank you for the screenshot.

You have moved the folders that the Camera app saves the photos and videos to onto your D drive, is that correct and is the Camera app not saving the files into those folders you have created on the D drive?

Hi, I am Dave, I will help you with this.

Click your Start Button, type regedit and hit Enter to open the Registry Editor.

Click View and make sure 'Address Bar' is turned on.

Paste this into the Address Bar at the top and hit Enter.

    HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\User Shell Folders

Please provide a screenshot of that Registry Editor page.
