Change Access application icon

Hi,

we have a problem changing the application icon in the title bar of Access 2021 x64 (Version 2504) on Windows 11.

We tried both approaches

  1. Setting it over the options for the current database
  2. AutoExec macro and code behind.

The result is always the same, the title bar still shows the Access icon but in the task bar the correct custom icon is displayed.

Based on the question (item 1)

"1) Setting it over the options for the current database"

they have done exactly that already and have the issue they are asking assistance with

    Based on the statement

"the title bar still shows the Access icon but in the task bar the correct custom icon is displayed."

It is clear they have properly set the property, but the issue lies with Windows/Access.

I gotta said your answer sounds a lot like generalized AI content.

    Hello,

Thank you for interacting with us by posting your issue on community forum.

    Add a custom icon:

    1. Click File > Options.
    2. Click Current Database.
    3. Under Application Options, in the Application Icon box, do one of the following.
    • Type the full path of the icon that you want to be displayed.
    • To browse to the file location of your icon, click Browse.
      4. To display the icon on the document tab of each form or report, or in the title bar of the form or report if overlapping windows are used,

select the Use as Form and Report Icon check box.

      5. Click OK to save your changes. Note, you might need to close and then re-open your database to see all the changes.

Note: Valid file types include icon (*.ico) and bitmap (*.bmp).

Hope this helps! Have a nice day!

    Regards,
