Dear Cammy,
Good day! Thank you for reaching out to the Microsoft Community.
Regarding your question, as using Presenter View (also referred to as Speaker View) during a presentation, your audience will only see the presentation slides, they will not see your speaker notes, upcoming slides, or any of the presenter tools. These elements are visible only on your screen, assuming you're using a dual-monitor setup (e.g., your laptop screen and a projector or external display).
To ensure this works as expected:
- Connect your second display (projector or external monitor).
- In PowerPoint, go to Slide Show > check Presenter View.
- Start the slideshow. Your Mac will automatically detect the second display and show Presenter View on your screen.
If you're using a single screen, Presenter View will not activate by default, and your notes will not be visible unless you manually share your entire screen.
I hope it clears your concerns, please let me know if you have any further concern or questions.
Best regards,
Ian Ng - MSFT | Microsoft Community Support Specialist.
