Where can I purchase, or obtain, MODI (Microsoft Office Document Imaging Software) for W11?

I am purchasing a new W11 desktop PC. I have years of Tiff files that I need to retain and add sheets to. Does Microsoft offer MODI software? If not, where can I get it? Also I need to know if Microsoft 365 Personal really does contain "Access".

I'd truly recommend Access for this. Create a simple table with a form. You can save the path/filename of your images individually, add category, amounts, dates, ... and then be able to easily search and create reports.

For images, the best app has always been Irfanview and it can view mult-page tiffs without issue. You can also use Windows Photo Viewer which also supports multi-page tiffs.

You could create a form to select a TIFF and insert new pages using things like:

    • ImageMagick
    • LibTIFF via the web browser control
    • MergeTiff

but personally I would manage them individually in the database, much easier to organize/search/manage and doesn't require any image manipulation software whatsoever.

Trying to get MODI to work when it was EOL in Office 2010 I believe is pushing your luck. At some point don't be surprised that there's no way to make it work.

At least George managed to answer your question, that's the most important thing.

You could do a "Google" search for "MODI (Microsoft Office Document Imaging Software) for W11" and you'll probably find the same sources someone here would find in such a search.

You can get information on which applications include MS Access and which don't from Microsoft's Page here. You will need to scroll a little more than half-way down the page to find the line which addresses Access, but the information is there for you.

Modi is ancient technology. Kim not sure if it can be used with newer versions of Office. Some people have started that it does??? You could always try:

What exactly do you use it for because we can most probably offer a better way of doing so.
