Placing tags on individual containers in a storage account

I have a storage account with different containers belonging to different business units. I would like to be able to tag them separately, so I can see the cost breakdown per container in Cost Analysis. I see there is a 'metadata' tag that can be added to containers. Is there any way to use this to generate cost/usage data?

    Hello,

While you can add metadata to Azure Blob storage containers, you cannot use that metadata directly for cost analysis.

To see cost breakdown, you will have to create a separate Azure Storage Account for each business unit.
