legal department email

there are many people asking for one simple answer: what is the email of the microsoft legal department. I am guessing there are hundreds working in that dept but i see failure to disclose. as if there is an effort to avoid giving the right answer and give directions that lead to other teams. I am asking about LEGAL. nothing else. Microsoft is obliged to provide this information since its a company selling products and IT services.

I must send them a letter. Please provide.

    Hi APAP_330, 

    I completely understand you want a direct email in your situation. After double-checking all our internal resources, I’m afraid we don’t have access to legal team email addresses (they keep them private for security and tracking reasons). The fastest way to reach them is still the Compliance Portal (https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/legal/compliance) you found earlierit goes straight to their case system. I’m really sorry I can’t give you that exact email, but I hope the portal gets you a quick resolution.

    No actually, I could find all of the above on the website. Please provide me with a specific email of the legal department. That is ALL i need.

    I am not asking for the address of where you central bank keeps the gold. I am asking for LEGAL. All companies in the world make sure to have the addresses as visible as they can be. Your reply " they keep them private for security and tracking reasons" not only makes zero sense but it is also very, very odd given that recently Microsoft had to deal with a lot of problems in the products- as the official letter to it investors said. Many users have been requesting contacts with the legal department but I see that this is not possible.

    can you please explain what "keep them private for security and tracking reasons" means

    I once again submit my request for the legal department's email.
