Since yesterday I can't open attachment from e-mail of WhatsApp on my desktop computer. I get the following notification:
"Word experienced an error trying to open the file. Try these suggestions:
*Check the file permissions for the document or drive.
*Make sure there is sufficient free memory and disk space.
*Open the wile with the Text recovery center.
I can open these files on my phone. Ans local stored files open as well. It only occurs with attached files.
We don't have Office365, but a localy storaged version.
How can I repair this problem?

Save the attachments to your local drive and then open from within Word.
I tried this already. Unfortunately it didn't work.
