I have a Kindle 10. The screen has an orange tint I can't get rid of. Kindle is telling me to update the Kindle App on Windows. How do I do that?

    Hey there!

Nice to meet you! I'm Randy, an Independent Advisor.

Hi Thomas! If Kindle is asking you to update the Kindle app on Windows, here’s how to do it:

Just open the Microsoft Store from your Start menu. Once it’s open, click Library at the bottom left, then click “Get updates.” If the Kindle app needs an update, it’ll show up and update automatically. You can also search for “Kindle” in the Store and see if there’s an Update button click it if you see it.

Once done, close the Kindle app if it’s open, then open it again.

Now, just to check you mentioned the orange tint. Is that on your Kindle 10 tablet or inside the Kindle app on your PC? If it’s on the Kindle device, it might be the Blue Shade setting. Try swiping down from the top of your Kindle screen and turning Blue Shade off.

    Regards,
