my mobile phone is connected to my laptop but the dynamic lock is telling me that it is unable to find the device

    Hi Yuvraj. I suspect the reason Dynamic Lock is unable to identify your mobile device, even though you have it connected, is due to a Bluetooth pairing inconsistency, driver issues, or a system setting being disabled. First, just make sure Bluetooth is on and working properly by going to Settings > Bluetooth & devices > Devices. If you see your phone listed, you can remove it by clicking on the three dots to the right of the name and selecting Remove device. After that, you can re-pair the device by selecting Add device and clicking Bluetooth. second, you can go Settings > Accounts > Sign-in options, scroll down to Dynamic Lock, and verify the box for "Allow Windows to automatically lock your device when you're away." is selected. If the option is missing or grayed out, press Win + R, enter regedit, and drill down to HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Winlogon. Right-click EnableGoodbye, then choose Modify, and change its value to 1. Restart your PC to apply the change. When you're back in Windows, update your Bluetooth drivers through Device Manager to ensure compatibility.
