I just want to chime in and say I'm having the same Sync issue with one of my clients.
I think it's a global issue that started this week with an update.
This browser is no longer supported.

Outlook for ios will not sync with events created on google calendar in a browser. Hoevever, the events created directly in outlook for ios will immediately sync with the google calendar in the browser. Email syncs seamlessly.
How can I correct this so sync is two way? I can´t miss appointments simply because they were created or accepted on Google calendar on my PC.

I believe you can subscribe to the Google Calendar in Outlook on the web. See https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/office/import-or-subscribe-to-a-calendar-in-outlook-com-or-outlook-on-the-web-cff1429c-5af6-41ec-a5b4-74f2c278e98c .
The idea is that the subscribed calendar will then display in Outlook for Mac and possibly also in Outlook for iOS.
Hello MSS,
Thanks for using Microsoft product and posting in the Microsoft Q&A.
I realize that you've encountered a problem with the one-way sync issue between Outlook for iOS and Google Calendar, I understand how you feel. This indicates a specific issue with Google Calendar sending updates to Outlook iOS.
Here are the most common reasons for this specific problem and how to fix them:
1. Re-add Your Google Account in Outlook app
2. Verify Google Account Permissions & Outlook Access
3. Ensure "Calendars" is Enabled for the Account in Outlook iOS
Within the Outlook app itself, you can choose which components (mail, calendar, contacts) sync for each account.
4. Update your Outlook app to the latest version
Please try these steps and let me know how it goes. If you have any other questions or need help with something else in the meantime, I'm here for you.
Best regards
