Deactivate Copilot Model Training

Hi to all.

I want to know if its possible to: "Control whether your conversations are used for model training", in Microsoft Copilot

Microsoft says:

Auf copilot.com: Wählen Sie Ihr Profilsymbol aus, wählen Sie Ihren Profilnamen und dann Datenschutz > Modelltraining für Text und Modelltraining für Sprache aus.

On copilot.com: Select your profile icon, select your profile name, and then select Privacy > Model Training for Text and Model Training for Speech.

Now I tried it, but I don t find this setting. When I select privacy, i just get a large page, like
https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/privacy/privacystatement

But I don t find the setting.

any idea?

Hi Hans

You don’t see the model training setting because:

You're likely in the EU, UK, or Switzerland → training is disabled by default, so the option is hidden.

Or you're using a work/school account → Microsoft never trains on those.

In both cases: Your conversations are not used for training, and no action is needed.
