How to activate the basic 365 subscription that's bundled with the HP laptop purchase

I recently bought an HP laptop that came with 12 month basic subscription of MS 365. But my account doesn't reflect the same subscription. Kindly help me activate the basic subscription linked to my account.

    Microsoft 365 basic does not come with standalone apps. You need to use the web version of the apps like Office. Microsoft 365 Basic offers 100GB of OneDrive storage, increasing the free limit from 5GB to 100GB. Plus, it includes an ad-free Outlook email account. If you got 365 Home, it is preinstalled already - just sign in to the Microsoft account and it should activate.

    To activate 365 basic, there should be a card inside the Laptop box which should have the instructions as well.

    20250724_205850~2.jpgThere were no cards other than the user manual with the HP laptop. But the box did have a sticker that mentioned 12 month basic subscription of Microsoft 365. And my One drive is still with 5 GB memory and not 100 GB as mentioned on the sticker.

    Also, there is no card inside the laptop box except the sticker on the package. My new laptop is Acer aspire go 14

    Which subscription type do you see in your account?

    Note that Microsoft 365 Basic includes additional OneDrive storage (compared to a free Microsoft account) and mobile and web access to Microsoft Office apps. For details, have a look at https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoft-365/p/microsoft-365-basic/cfq7ttc0ktxs .

    If you want a subscription which includes the full, desktop applications for Windows and MacOS, you'll need Microsoft 365 Personal (one user, multiple device types) or Microsoft 365 Family (up to six users, multiple device types).
