boloadingscreen

Hi everyone, I'm having a serious issue with Call of Duty: Warzone on PC. The game won't load — it's stuck on a black screen with a spinning circle in the bottom-right corner. I've let it sit for over 10 minutes, but nothing happens.

Here’s what I’ve tried so far (none of it worked):

Reinstalled the game completely

Reinstalled Windows 11

Updated GPU drivers (NVIDIA)

Checked for Windows updates

Cleared cache / config files

Ran as administrator

Disabled overlays (Discord, GeForce Experience)

  • Verified game files

If anyone has a fix or even an idea, I’d really appreciate the help. This has been super frustrating.

Thanks in advance!

A slightly older version of that driver is more stable than the latest version.

I understand what you were saying but it didn't have anything to do with nvidia drivers. More importantly take a look at atvi-randgrid_sr (1060) and atvi-randgrid as it was the problem all along. Kernel level anti cheats are kind of interesting to me because I want to know what else they exploit while doing so. Thanks for the read.

If you have re-installed Windows, and the problem survived that, then this is unlikely to be a Windows problem.

I understand you have already updated the GPU drivers, the best option is to completely remove the current Nvidia device driver using the widely available free DDU utility, then restart your PC and go to the Nvidia website to download and install a couple of slightly older version of the Nvidia device driver to try to find a version that is stable on your system.

A slightly older version of that driver is more stable than the latest version.
