Hi, I'm Bernard, a fellow Windows user. I'm happy to help!

Have you noticed any changes before the issue starts? And have you installed any hardware or software that may trigger the issue? While waiting for your response, kindly follow the steps below:

    Method 1. Run Audio troubleshooter:

Press the Windows Key + R, then type in:

    msdt.exe /id AudioPlaybackDiagnostic

Then hit OK and follow the prompt to run the Audio troubleshooter.

Method 2. Roll Back Audio driver:

-Press the Windows key + X

    -Go to Device Manager

-Expand the Sound, video and game controller

-Look for Realtek (R) Audio or High Definition audio

    -Right-click and click "Update Driver"

-Look for "Browse my computer for driver"

-Click "Let me pick drivers available drivers on my computer"

-Choose an old driver or other name of driver then select it and hit next until it installs.

Note: If the issue persists, please download and install an Audio driver from your manufacturer's website.

Let me know how it goes, and I hope that helps.

Hi, thank you for that information. In this case, I suggest doing a system restore, wherein it will restore the PC, where it was working properly. To do that, kindly follow the steps below:

Press the Windows key + R, then type in:

    rstrui

    Then hit OK.

Follow the prompts and select the time and date when the PC is working fine.

Follow the prompts again until it restores.

If none will work from the above solutions work, I suggest doing an in-place upgrade wherein it will update the device to the latest version and repair all issues without deleting any files.

Kindly follow the steps from this link:

    Hello,

This problem usually occurs when the audio driver is missing from your device.

To resolve the issue, you can first attempt to download audio driver for your system model from your device manufacturer's website. This should resolve issue.

If issue still persists, see if this fix helps you:
